The perils of a short distance cyclist
By Chris Littlecott
The scene:
Milton Keynes, the most cycle-friendly city in the UK. A quiet road, no traffic.
Characters:
Chas Middlecroft, a young website editor on his first day in a new city;
his new green bicycle;
er, that’s it.
ACT I
(Enter Chas on bicycle)
(Chas pulls the front brake before the back one and flies over handlebars)
Chas: “Ow!”
THE END
Apologies for the slow start to the year on the E3G website - I’m limited to one-handed typing at present as I’ve fractured my arm. Hopefully I’ll be back in action soon, and will be doing my best to get some fresh E3G thinking online over the next few days. Commiserations welcome in the meantime. Chris.
