As the second week of the Bali Climate Conference proceeds at a pace, E3G’s Jennifer Morgan has been adding to her already hectic schedule by speaking at a side event hosted by GLOBE EU.
The topic of the event was ‘Overcoming barriers to clean technology: the role of intellectual property rights and lack of capacity and resources’, and it was focused on identifying the barriers to the diffusion and transfer of clean technology needed to mitigate greenhouse gases, and how best to overcome them. It also discussed how to minimize such barriers, including laws on IPRs, and lack of capacity and resources in emerging and developing countries.
