Pelin Zorlu

Pelin joined E3G in December 2007. Since then, she has worked extensively on technology and global climate deal issues and contributed to other major E3G projects. Her research interests include international climate diplomacy, the role of technology, finance and institutions for low carbon transformation.
Pelin previously worked as a research assistant at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) in London on forest governance and poverty reduction, and Action for a Global Climate Community based in London. She also worked briefly at the European Commission (DG Environment), building on and fuelling her interest in European politics and the EU enlargement process.
Pelin holds an MA in Environment, Politics and Globalisation from King’s College London, where she studied as a UK FCO Chevening Scholar, and an MSc in Ecology from Middle East Technical University, Turkey. She speaks Turkish, English, French and basic Spanish.
