Office Manager
Meera joined E3G in February 2008 as Office Manager. Prior to joining E3G, Meera was a Team Administrator at AccountAbility where she was involved in all aspects of event co-ordination and management, including organising a range of workshops, launches and Stakeholder Convenings at various local and international locations including Angola, Belgium, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, UK and USA.
While at AccountAbility Meera also contributed to issue-specific research including on the topics of ‘What Assures Consumers on Climate Change?’, ethical consumerism, stakeholder engagement, and Partnership Governance and Accountability. She also undertook research on corporate benchmarking for multinational companies including Alcan, Coca-Cola, De Beers, General Electric and Shell Foundation; and the public sector including United Nations Environmental Programme – Division of Technology, Industry, and Economics (UNEP-DTIE), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Consumers International, and the National Consumer Council.
Meera holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick. Originally from Kenya, she is fluent in Gujarati and Swahili.
