On 16th May John Ashton gave a speech at the RSA as part of a #Liftingthelid event organised by Friends of the Earth. In his speech entitled 'Cometh the Hour: Climate Change, Politics and Leadership in Britain today' he spoke openly about the current politics of climate change and what must be done now.
He urged politicians to bring climate change into the mainstream, especially as the growth of the low carbon economy offers a positive story.
